While you are out adventuring, one of the things you have to keep track of, and is very important is the durability of your weapons.

Your Sword Durability is the number of times your individual sword can handle an encounter with an enemy. This number varies based on the Rank of the sword, and as such, the repair costs to return your sword to full power also varies.

These numbers are:

Sword Durability Numbers
Sword Rank/Type Max Durability Repair Cost Cost per Durability
Rank D/Normal 50 200 4 Coins
Rank C/Epic 55 300 5.5 Coins
Rank B/Rare 60 500 8.3 Coins
Rank A/Legendary 70 800 10.7 Coins
Rank M/Master 80 1,000 12.5 Coins
Rank S/Divine 90 1,500 16.7 Coins
Rank AA & SS/Artifact & God-Slaying 100 3,000 30 Coins
Rank X/Chaos 100 4,000 40 Coins

As stated, they go down for each encounter, however there is 1 other thing that can wear the durability of your swords down faster, which is the special attacks by your enemies.   Some of the enemies you'll encounter as you Adventure are able to specifically target your sword in an attempt to break them faster. These enemies are:

Ogre King Cursed Forest Blue -1 SD

Burning Knight Flaming Volcano Grey -2 SD

Durability Danger Icon

Fortunately, the game does try to help you out.  When the durability of any of your swords drops to 9, then an icon of a broken sword will appear in the game window.  This is your warning to repair your swords.  If you ignore it, then the icon will change to red to signify a sword has broken.

When 1 of your swords breaks, the repair cost will now be Smith Tokens.   So keeping track of your durability, and how much a potential run/enemy path will do your swords is very important.

Note:  The Cost per durability is there because this tells you how much each individual durability is worth.   This is so you can decide if you want to save yourself by buying coins or just take the attack.

For example.  You're facing the Undead Dragon.  It's about to do its special move.  You will lose 2 durability on every sword you have.  You have 5 Artifacts(Relics) equipped.  That would be 30*2(the move takes out 2 durability)., and if no one is Dual Wielding., X5.  So that move will take out cost you 300 coins.  So it's better for you to take the hit then it is to buy an orb and block it.
